Nothing says it like a picture or in this case video. Here are three Acer Revo 3610 Atom Ion Video demos covering H.264 files, Hulu Desktop & IE, and Boxee. They will give the understanding of how smoothly the unit plays! Since I did not shoot this in HD, as I don’t have a HD cam yet, you will not get to see the fantastic clarity of the HD picture the Revo 3610 creates. I found that no one yet has posted any video of the 3610 on Youtube or Vimeo showing its functionality. So, I thought, why not? I’m not a great demo commentator or professional at this, so be gentle.
So, I got my Acer Revo the other day and decided to show a few un-boxing pics. I figured this would tide you over until I finish the testing I’m doing for a full on user review. I was in a rush to plug the darn thing in, so my photography skills were lacking that day. But, here goes….

Ok, Adobe Flash Player 10.1 Beta was Released for Atom Ion! It supports GPU acceleration and GPU off loading of graphics processing for mobile devices and Intel Atom Ion PC’s like Acer Revo 3610, Asrock 330 etc.
So, if you have one of these Atom Ion units, you should be able to view web based content like Hulu with flawless quality. It may not help Flash based content viewed inside Boxee just yet as Boxee does not support GPU off loading or GPU acceleration. But the upcoming Boxee Beta may just incorportate that feature. I hope so.
Be careful. It is BETA, so you may experience issues. Hopefully not. I’m installing it on my Acer Revo 3610 ASAP!
Available for Windows, Linux and Intel Mac.
