OK, so I sat down with my Acer Revo 3610 and Boxee Beta to get my weekly fix of Revision3 HD Nation and what do I see? Hosts Robert Heron and Patrick Norton reading viewer mail and I hear my name! Whaaaat? Stop, rewind, play…play……..TODAY!!!
Sure thing. A viewer named Mark from Perth, Australia wrote in asking them to do a review of the Atom Ion Acer Revo 3610. Mark went on to say that they may also “get a kick” out of a web site featuring a Revo 3610 review with video of Robert and Patrick from HD Nation! They mentioned my site by name, show a screen shot, and mention the review was pretty cool. Nice!
Robert, Patrick, and Mark; thanks for the props! I’m, for once, speechless.

So, you have a new Acer Revo 3610 or other HTPC and you’re trolling around for some online video content. Well, there are many, many options out there. From news, network TV, sports and cable networks to name a few. Some even offer TV Guide resources or have dedicated Flash or Silverlight desktop players.
There is plenty of content out there for the taking. Some of it HD or SD quality.

I recently ordered an Acer Revo 3610 HTPC from NewEgg. It was on back order, so hopefully it arrives in the next week or so. I’d like to post a real life, better than I’ve found elsewhere review of its performance for the masses. (my Revo gets delivered today! stay tuned for updated post)
If you’ve not heard about this little device, it runs the Intel Atom 330 dual core processor that clocks at 1.66 ghz and 533 FSB. It also uses the Nvidia ION 9400M video card. It has 2gb of DDR 800 dual channel ram (can upgrade to 4 gb). (more…)
